From Dream to Reality...
I first fell in love with the elegance of the Burmese breed when I saw some lovely Burmese at the GCCF Supreme Cat Show. At the time, I was breeding and showing Persians and knew that integrating a pet Burmese, known for their high energy, with my laid-back Persian cats would be unfair. However, I stopped breeding Persians in the Nineties so that I could focus on my family. As such I didn't get my first Burmese until a few years after the last of my retired Persians had sadly passed away. In 2008, I finally bought my first Burmese cats and it has been a rollercoaster ride since then.
Our prefix, Clarisa, has been registered with the GCCF since 1989 and we pride ourselves on breeding quality cats with beauty and personality. We focus on breeding cats with low inbreeding coefficients that conform to the breed standard and specialize in brown, chocolate, red, cream, tortie, blue and lilac. As a hobby breeder, all our cats are first and foremost loved family pets and have the run of the house. As such all our kittens are confident, happy, bundles of mischief and we wouldn't have it any other way.
